Upswing CRM is based in New York City. As a company, we started with the specific intention to design, develop, market, and operate the financial industry’s most advanced web-based customer relationship management software tailored specifically to the needs of financial advisors and their firms and enterprises. Founded by entrepreneurs with previous experience in financial services, enterprise software, and Web 2.0 businesses, the company has adhered to a focused product development strategy that fuses product functionality with design efficiency to improve CRM productivity and success.

Using a multitenant architecture and web-services functionality and combining them with modern Web 2.0 communication and collaboration techniques, the Upswing CRM platform has been built for the financial services advisor and his/her customers. Upswing’s mission is to help financial advisors and managers automate their entire business practice by providing customer relationship management applications to attract and retain clients, automate business processes and office workflow while meeting the compliance requirements of the SEC, Patriot Act and Sarbanes Oxley regulations.

The initial version of Upswing CRM became generally available in the first quarter of 2007 to great acclaim, even though it was the company’s beta-release of the on-demand CRM product with an early-stage suite of features. Upswing Version 2.0 was released in June of 2008 and is the result of extensive product research, usability testing, security planning, scalability assessment, and performance testing for CRM system in financial services.
