If I or my firm cancels the Upswing account what happens to our data?

If you decide to cancel your Upswing account your data will be permanently deleted from our system. Please login and export all of your data before canceling your account or file a support request for our assistance.

Where is my data stored?

Upswing's servers are hosted and managed by Rackspace, a leading, well-known hosting provider. Rackspace has world-class data centers and best-in-class engineering and security standards in the areas
of physical security, precision monitored hosting environments,
redundant, enterprise-class routing and certified security teams and
network technicians.

Can I upgrade, downgrade or cancel my account at anytime?

Yes. Simply click on the “Account” tab inside of Upswing and you can upgrade, downgrade, and cancel your account at anytime, free of charge.

What is "SSL" security?

SSL, short for Secure Sockets Layer, encrypts all of your data for security purposes between Upswing and your web browser. All of Upswing's CRM service plans use SSL.

Do I need a credit card to sign up? What types of payment do you accept?

For the free account you do not need a credit card to sign up. For the pay-plans you do need a credit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. For enterprise customers we do accept purchase orders over a certain size. If you are a firm with more than 30 users and want to learn more about your payment options please contact us.

For any pay plans, are there any long-term commitments? Can I cancel my account at anytime?

There are no long term committments. If at anytime you want to cancel, simply log in to Upswing and click on the “Accounts” tab and click cancel. You will pay (and can use the service) for the remaining month and your credit card won't be billed thereafter.

How does the 30-day free trial for pay plans work?

When you sign up to a pay plan, you won't be charged for 30 days. It's a free period. Upswing’s 30-day trial allows you to set up your company with an account for 30 days for free. If you were to cancel before the 30 days are up, your credit card won't be charged.

Can I change the main account manager who owns the account?

Yes. Simply go to the "Account" tab and select "assign a new user" as the main account manager.
